The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might appear unsuited, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Fans can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
